Kelcroft’s John Herbert Interviewed about Legionella Tamar

Kelcroft director John A. Herbert interviewed about Legionella in Tamar

Our director Mr John A. Herbert was interviewed by the South China Morning Post (unlinkable) on 4th January 2012 regarding Legionella. Click the image to enlarge.

As the Legionella scare widens with more positive results were reported on 3 Jan. 2010,and  it is clear the entire building is now infected.

With positive Legionella results on the first floor, cafe, dining room, both east and west wing now reported, the scope of the investigation has mushroomed beyond the initial small area served from the tank that feeds 15/F – 11/F and Michael Suen’s office.

Today’s (4 Jan 2010) SCMP report on the front page about Legionella in Tamar Hong Kong is still low on detail.

14 November 2013 Update:
tamar not disinfected in 2012
I wonder if there is any value to update this old post, but its revealing. There is report published today (14 Nov. 2013) that the Hong Kong’s Auditor discovered countless outstanding defects remain unresolved at Tamar, and now the interesting part, it says that the plumbing installation was NOT disinfected before the government HQ opened in 2012.
